Tech Fusion Fest 2025

Tech Fusion Fest 2025: A Three-Day Celebration of Creativity, Innovation & Technological Excellence at KFIST Tech Fusion Fest 2025, organized by BASIS Students’ Forum of KFIST Chapter Club, stood as one of the most vibrant, inspiring, and impactful events of the academic year. With the theme “Smart Ideas, Simple Codes,” the festival became a melting pot of creativity, collaboration, and cutting-edge problem-solving; uniting passionate students, dedicated volunteers, honorable faculty members, and industry-leading guests under one platform. Spanning three transformative days, the fest offered a full spectrum of experiences from idea exhibitions to intense hackathons, ad-making challenges, guest sessions, and a grand closing ceremony. It not only showcased the talent of students but also created a powerful environment that nurtured learning, teamwork, leadership, and real-world technical skills. Date- November 17 Day 1 – Idea Pitching & Project Showcasing Where Creativity Took the First Step The festival began with the much-anticipated Idea Pitching & Project Showcasing segment, which set a promising tone for the days ahead. Students entered with enthusiasm, presenting bold and thoughtful ideas addressing real-world challenges—ranging from AI-driven applications and smart home automation systems to sustainability solutions, community support platforms, healthcare tools, and more. A unique highlight of Day 1 was the one-shot presentation style, where participants had to deliver their ideas in a single take—requiring strong communication skills, clarity, and confidence. Judges and faculty members appreciated the professionalism and depth shown by the participants. Their constructive feedback further encouraged students to polish their concepts and continue exploring new possibilities in technology. Day 1 successfully sparked excitement and motivation, proving that innovation truly begins with an idea—and students at KFIST are equipped with the passion to bring those ideas to life. Date- November 18 Day 2 – Hacktasyne: The 10-Hour Hackathon Turning Innovation into Execution Day 2 featured Hacktasyne, the signature 10-hour hackathon that tested endurance, focus, collaboration, and practical problem-solving. This segment transformed classrooms into coding battlefields, buzzing with discussion, experimentation, debugging, and creativity. Participants worked tirelessly to convert their ideas into functional prototypes, covering diverse areas. Throughout the day, mentors guided teams with technical insights, helping them refine logic, improve functionality, and navigate challenges. Volunteers ensured a smooth workflow, showcasing incredible dedication and teamwork. The energy, pressure, and passion inside the rooms reflected the true essence of a hackathon—where breakthroughs happen, skills grow, and innovators rise to the challenge. By the end of the 10 hours, teams submitted their projects successfully, each representing hard work, resilience, and commitment to excellence. Hacktasyne concluded as an extraordinary demonstration of what students can achieve when they combine discipline with creativity and technology with purpose. Date- November 19 Day 3 – The Ultimate Showdown & Prize Giving Ceremony Celebrating Talent, Hard Work & the Spirit of Tech Fusion The grand finale Day 3: The Ultimate Showdown & Prize Giving Ceremony brought together finalists, guests, faculties, and enthusiastic audiences to witness the best performances of the fest. Distinguished guests and industry experts joined the event, sharing inspiring thoughts on innovation, career growth, and the ever-evolving landscape of technology. Their presence elevated the program, creating valuable learning moments for the students. The finalists from all categories showcased their exceptional work one last time, impressing the judges with creativity, technical depth, and real-world applicability. The environment was filled with excitement as students awaited the much-anticipated results. The Prize Giving Ceremony honored champions of: Idea Pitching & Project Showcasing Hacktasyne: The 10-Hour Hackathon Art of Perfection: Ad Making Challenge Winners received awards, certificates, and recognition, celebrating their dedication and achievements. The joy and pride on the participants’ faces reflected not only their hard work but also the supportive environment created by the department and the organizing team. The event concluded with a memorable group photo, marking the end of a journey filled with passion, learning, and innovation. The Essence of Tech Fusion Fest 2025 Tech Fusion Fest was more than just a competition; it was an experience. It brought together every element that fuels growth in the modern world of technology: Creativity, expressed through ideas and visuals Technical mastery, refined through hackathons Leadership, nurtured by teamwork and role distribution Communication, honed through pitching and presentations Real-world thinking, encouraged through problem-based challenges The fest successfully strengthened the technological culture of KFIST and inspired students to explore their potential beyond the classroom. With strong coordination, exceptional participation, and outstanding displays of innovation, Tech Fusion Fest 2025 concluded as a resounding success—setting a new benchmark for future events.

Peer-to-Peer Orientation Learning Session on Social Emotional Wellbeing

The 𝐏𝐞𝐞𝐫-𝐭𝐨-𝐏𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐎𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 wrapped up with thoughtful dialogue, active participation, and meaningful reflections from students across the university. The session emphasized emotional resilience, peer support, and a caring campus environment, which are essential for strengthening mental well-being in today’s academic life. We were honored to have Mrs. Jesmin Pervin, Director of the International Collaboration Division at UGC, as the Special Guest, along with Professor Dr. Masuma Habib, Member of UGC, as the Chief Guest. The session was chaired by Professor Mohammed Masum Iqbal, PhD, Pro Vice Chancellor of DIU, and facilitated by Syed Tanveer Rahman, Associate Professor of Psychology at the University of Dhaka. Organized under the joint initiative of the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh and UNESCO Dhaka and facilitated by KFIST, the program created a space for students to engage, learn, and take responsibility for their own well-being.
